Fans of NCIS are delighted the 18th season of the crime procedural has begun airing on Tuesday evenings. The new outing sees the show head back in time as viewers find out what Leroy Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) was up to in series 17. Express.co.uk has rounded up all you need to know about streaming the show.
NCIS season 18 began airing on November 17 as the team returned after a long hiatus.
The show was cut short earlier in 2020 by coronavirus COVID-19 and missed its usual September premiere.
However, it is now back on screens and there will be 16 episodes in total in the new season.
These will continue airing weekly on Tuesdays – here is everything you need to know about how to watch them.

How to watch NCIS season 18 online
In the US
NCIS airs on CBS on Tuesday evenings, which allows viewers to watch it live provided they have access to the network.
However, the channel also lets viewers watch the show online as well.
This can be done via streaming platform CBS All Access, which is available as a website or an app.
Subscriptions to the service cost $5.99 (£4.50) a month as well as a seven-day free trial.
The platform lets viewers download the episodes in order to watch them offline.
With a subscription to CBS All Access, viewers are able to watch the latest episodes of NCIS LA and NCIS New Orleans as well.
NCIS is also available to stream on Netflix in the US but currently, only 15 seasons are available.
As well as this, it has not yet been announced when season 18 will be landing on the platform.

In the UK
Unfortunately, fans in the UK will be waiting a while longer before being able to stream the show.
At the moment, there has been no confirmation about when the show will air on this side of the pond.
However, it is expected to return to FOX UK at some point in 2021 as this is where previous seasons have aired.
Season 17 of the show premiered in January 2020 in the UK after being released in September 2019 in the US.
Therefore, fans will hopefully be able to see it on the channel in early 2021.

FOX UK shows can be streamed in the UK via Sky’s streaming platform NOW TV.
This costs £7.99 a month and allows viewers to watch a variety of shows on Sky’s various channels.
