This season of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been plagued with rumors that one of the original stars will leave again. That would be Nene Leakes and her fellow co-star is only continuing the rumor. Leakes talked about her future plans again and said that she’s undecided.
There were rumors Nene Leakes is quitting ‘RHOA’ again
Season 12 started with rumors that Leakes was leaving the show. That’s because she didn’t appear until the third episode due to her negotiations.
However, the rumors didn’t stop there. Wendy Williams later told fans that Leakes is planning to quit. “I know something about Nene that you all will cry, be sad and feel bad for her,” the talk show host told her audience. “She’s carrying the weight of a huge thing on her shoulders.” Williams then begged for Leakes to continue starring on the show.
The reality star later denied the rumor with an Instagram post. She captioned a picture with “WHO SAID DAT!?!?! #SMH.”
Leakes denied Kenya Moore’s claim that she is being phased out
Kenya Moore has a theory that Leakes is being phased out of the show. She talked to Andy Cohen about it on Watch What Happens Live.
Cohen told Moore that Leakes is wondering why she is telling press she is being phased out. “Oh, well, then I guess she would need to ask Bravo why they’re cutting her out of many episodes this season. I’m not the one behind the editing,” answered Moore. “I’m not the one doing the editing and figuring out the show.”
The talk show host asked if she thought the original star was being phased out. “I think she is,” she said. “That’s not something that I can absolutely say. I mean, if you’re being cut out of episodes, clearly the sign is you’re not as important as you think you are.”
Leakes claimed that’s not true. She tweeted, “I HAVE NOT been cut out of any episodes! I negotiated my episodes just like everyone else did! I’m getting every dime i [sic] asked for! Thank you for asking and clearing that up @andy That means a lot to me.”
She said she’s ‘undecided’ about her future on the show
There have been many rumors around Leakes’ future on the show. She talked about her decision on The Talk.
“I will tell you that, as far as coming back, I feel like this show is my baby. I started this show. But I also feel like I don’t want to be in a group where I feel like everybody is attacking and being very malicious,” she said.
Leakes then said at the end of every season her team “get together and talk about what’s best for me.” She added, “So hopefully Real Housewives is best for me, I don’t know.” The original star said she’s now “undecided.”
