Nina Warhurst overwhelmed as BBC Breakfast co-star declares love for her with poignant gesture | The Sun

BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhust was left overwhelmed at her co-star's adorable gesture.

The TV presenter is known for being the resident business correspondent on the programme but regularly sits on the main sofa in place of regular host Sally Nugent.

Nina was left feeling emotional over a very sweet moment behind the scenes of the bustling morning breakfast programme.

Taking to Twitter, Nina shared a snap where she was seated out of shot at the business desk with a copy of the Financial Times alongside her presenting notes and a BBC Breakfast mug.

Nina had made a series of personal annotations to her notes in order to help her when she went live on air but it was one of her colleague's annotations that really put a smile on Nina’s face.

Sharing a close up of the Financial Times newspaper, a loving hand-written message had been penned onto the paper reading: “We love you Nina.”

She added: “@BBCBreakfast gang is my fave.”

One fan replied to Nina saying: "And so do we," in response to the annotated note.

Another fan replied with a heart-warming message, saying: "Love BBC1 for the early morning start. It's like a cosy family. All the important stuff and a few giggles on the way. Great stuff."

It comes after Nina shocked the world when she shared jaw-dropping throwback pics from her time as an actor on Casualty during the 90s.

The BBC Breakfast presenter once played a "spiky teen" on the medical soap back in 1997 – but looks completely unrecognisable in some recently surfaced photos.

Despite her impressive broadcasting career, Nina's acting credit in the Christmas special of Casualty was her first on-screen role.

The star looked dramatically different as a youngster, especially given the fact that her character landed herself in hospital with several cuts across her cheek.
