The future of Our Yorkshire Farm was unknown after stars Amanda and Clive Owen announced they were separating back in June. The couple, who were together for 21 years, have nine children together and star in the hit Channel 5 series in which they showcase their family life on the isolated Ravenseat Farm. Fans have been speculating whether another series would air following the news, but Amanda, 48, recently teased the return of the family favourite.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine on Thursday, Amanda had to remain tight-lipped about what can be expected, but it seems safe to assume Our Yorkshire Farm will survive the couple’s breakup.

Standing in for Lorraine Kelly, Christine Lampard tried to tease out details of plans for the series.

“There’s new projects going on,” Amanda teased. “There’s exciting new things going on that obviously I can’t tell you about, Christine.”

“You can come back and do that!” the presenter remarked. “As you say, there’s lots of things in the pipeline.”

Later, Amanda continued: “I’m really proud of us and what we do.”

“Exactly and this new series, incoming I believe, I’m not sure when…” Christine probed.

“Well, there’s all kinds of upcoming projects but obviously, I have to remain…” Amanda mimed zipping her lips, refusing to give anything away.

Amanda recently admitted her and Clive’s breakup has been a “release of pressure” when she appeared on Friday’s Jeremy Vine on 5.

She and Clive, 67, have lived together on a 2,000-acre farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales for years.

Announcing the news on her social media accounts in the summer, Amanda told her followers at the time the split had not been easy but stressed how she and Clive “believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family”.

The Channel 5 star addressed the spilt on Friday’s instalment on Jeremy Vine on 5 as she discussed her latest book, Celebrating the Seasons.

Jeremy asked Amanda how she and Clive continue to work together following their split.

“We have a child with chickenpox, Clemmie has chickenpox, and I have another one who has been ill – everything carries on because it has to,” Amanda replied.

“You can’t have that amount of work on a farm and with the children and sort of meet at the weekend at McDonald’s for the handover.”

Amanda then admitted: “To be dead honest with you, coming out about it and speaking about it has been, for us personally, it’s been good.

“It’s been a release of pressure and at the end of the day, everything we have ever put out there on the television or on the books has been about reality.

“Do you know what? This is as much reality as anything.”

However, during the Lorraine interview, the shepherdess revealed the breakup had been “tough”.

She said: “It’s really tough and it’s a really difficult aspect of it to get across, but when you do reality [TV], it has to be just that.”

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
