Paul Hollywood’s ex awkwardly avoids cheating probe ‘Did he cheat on you with Summer?’

Loose Women was back with the penultimate episode of the week and joining the ladies on the panel today as their guest was Alex Hollywood, Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood’s soon to be ex wife. During her appearance, journalist Jane Moore wasted no time in trying to find out whether or not Paul did cheat on Alex with his former girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam.

After revealing how she is in the process of getting a divorce from Paul, Jane Moore praised Alex about how well she had conducted herself throughout the situation.

“You’ve really been very dignified, because, you know, your husband cheated on your with Summer – I’m assuming that’s correct is it?” Jane asked.

A moment or two passed before Alex replied and she said: “I discuss my relationship with my soon to be ex husband as much as I was married to him.

“Everything else is very incidental. A divorce is about the two people involved in that marriage – nothing else is important.

“So at the end of the day, yes, if a divorce is horrible, if there is adultery and infidelity then that makes it doubly worse.

“It hurts, but it is something you can get through,” she added.

“But particularly when it is in the public eye as well,” Jane continued.

“It’s not easy I must admit I’ve had a lot of press interest – I’ve had them outside my house, phoning my friends,” the guest explained.

“But, the end of the day, they’re doing a job, you’re doing a job,” Alex concluded.

Express.co.uk has contacted Alex’s, Paul’s and Summer’s representatives for comment.

Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about how “difficult” the last couple of years of her life have been.

“Life is good actually. Life is good. It’s been, it has been a difficult couple of years actually,” she revealed.

“It has been tough. But anybody going through divorce is going to understand that.”

“It’s horrendous. Divorce is horrible,” she told ITV viewers.

“It’s a really hard, sad thing to go through and you’ve got to go all the way through from start to finish and get through but you do come out the other side.”

Alex also explained why she has decided to keep ‘Hollywood’ as her last name even after the divorce has finalised.

“I am Alex Hollywood, I write as Alex Hollywood and I am Josh Hollywood’s mum. That’s the person I am now, that’s the person I’ve grown into and that’s the person I’m going to stay,” she told Nadia Sawalha, Carol Griffin, Christine Lampard and Jane.
