Phil and Holly latest — This Morning presenters return to ITV show as hosts vow rift will not escalate after fall-out | The Sun

PHILLIP Schofield and Holly Willoughby will both return to the This Morning sofa today on ITV after vowing their rift would not escalate.

A source said: “Holly and Phil are professionals and they can turn it on like no one else.

“Although behind the scenes their relationship is nothing like it was, they are both dedicated to This Morning and keeping it together for viewers.”

It comes as BAFTA hosts Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan brought up Phil and Holly's past scandal during last night's ceremony.

Rob said he was looking forward to the next series of The Crown, adding “Holly and Phil probably got early access to the episodes.”

Holly Willoughby wipes Phillip Schofield from her social media

Holly has removed a tribute to Phillip Schofield from her Twitter bio after The Sun revealed they are barely speaking.

She first teamed up with the veteran presenter on Dancing On Ice in 2006, before joining him on This Morning three years later.

That year Holly created a Twitter account and underneath her handle @hollywills it read: "I was introduced to this by a Twitter legend" with Phillip's name linked in her bio.

But her account description has since been amended, though it is not clear when the changes were made.

Her Twitter bio currently reads: "Broadcaster, Founder of Wyldemoon, Brand ambassador for Marks & Spencer and Garnier, Author of Reflections."

Commenting on the changes, one person tweeted: "Loads of newspaper reports overnight that they've both fallen out and don't talk anymore. Holly's also removed the mention of Phil from her twitter bio."

Now MailOnline reports how Holly is said to have "asked her team to reach out to ITV to negotiate a new contract."
