Power finished with its sixth season which ended earlier this year. Fans needn’t worry though as creator Courtney Kemp and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson brought it back to life in the shape with four new spin-off series. The first of the four, Power Book II: Ghost, is nearing its end with the finale ready to air this weekend. After this, it will soon be time for the start of a new story to begin.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan will be the second of the new series in the Power franchise to come out.
While the other three shows are about what happened next following the death of James “Ghost” St Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick), Power Book III is going to take fans to where it all began.
The upcoming drama will be a prequel about Ghost’s enemy and fellow drug dealer Kanan Stark (Curtis Jackson) growing up in the 1990s.
Power Book III is going to delve into how Kanan got involved in the drug world and became the man who many feared.
