POWER fans were furious as Ghost star Omari Hardwick was beaten to Sexiest Man Alive by Creed star Michael B Jordan – as they demanded he returned to Power.
Loyal fans of Omari who played Ghost in Power took to Instagram to demand the actor be crowned the Sexiest Man Alive in the annual People magazine poll.
It came as Omari posted a congratulatory message on Instagram to his rival ‘lil bro’ Michael where he sent himself up for ‘losing’ his sex appeal after becoming a father.
Omari, 46, said: “Hell yeah, he’s sexy. He’s not a daddy yet.
"Once you start making babies, your sexy goes way back. What’s that Justin Timberlake said ‘your sexy goes way back.'”
Omari continued to commiserate himself by telling fans how his life was far from sexy as he took the trash out in the morning.
Suffice to say fans were furious he lost out on the title.
One wrote: “The crown of sexiest man alive belongs to you Omari Hardwick.”
Another said: “You should have won. Although he’s fine, you’re fine fine.”
A third chipped in: “You are the sexy man alive. Period.”
And his wife Jae Hardwick made sure to show her love and support too as she said: "Baby Daddy…lemme tell you something…You're sexier after these crazy babies..annnnd you forgot one trash can this morning so you gotta bring your sexy back in the house."
Viewers of the Starz and Netflix show begged show creator Courtney Kemp to bring him back from the dead after Ghost was gunned down by his own son in an epic whodunnit last season.
One wrote : “We gotta catch Ghost off set I guess. @ghoststarz @courtneyakemp find a way to bring him back.”
“Don’t be hating you’re still the sexiest man on Power. Bring Ghost back.”
A third wrote: “We want him back.”
