RHOBH's Erika Jayne accused of 'hiding bank statements' while 'flaunting jewelry' as she's accused of fraud in lawsuit

REAL Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has been accused of “hiding her bank statements” while “flaunting her jewelry.”

The latest claims come as she’s been accused of fraud in a lawsuit.

Erika’s ex-husband Tom Girardi and his law firm, Girardi Keese, were previously accused of embezzling funds from multiple families who lost loved ones in a 2018 Boeing plane crash.

The 82-year-old was later sued by his business partners, which resulted in a chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in December.

According to a copy of the latest motion obtained by PEOPLE, the petitioning creditors in the bankruptcy case filed a motion that accuses the RHOBH star of refusing to turn over bank statements and other documents to the bankruptcy trustee that’s investigating the lawyer’s assets.

The trustee's special litigation counsel previously confirmed that Tom’s law firm transferred a whopping $20 million to Erika’s many businesses.

The Bravo star even created one of the businesses after news broke of the embezzlement scandal.

According to PEOPLE, the motion requested that Erika's accountant, Michael Ullman, hand over a series of "key financial documents" for the investigation.

The document read: "Erika has refused to provide access to her management company, her CPA which also houses her management company, any books and records of EJ Global or any of her affiliated companies.

It continued: "As each day goes by, Erika has been publicly dissipating community assets by selling her clothes on public websites, flaunting large jewels on social media and on television, and has done nothing to assist in return structured firm payments being made to her instead of the firm by the California lottery, notwithstanding she was contacted through counsel over twelve days ago."

The motion then claimed that the RHOBH star used her companies to hide her assets, while she allegedly blocked access to her accountant as she continues to publicly flaunt her wealth.

The document read: "At every turn, Erika has used the glam to continue to aid and abet this sham transactions that have been occurring with respect to large transfers of assets from the [Girardi Keese] to Erika. "Moreover, the Trustee has received zero cooperation from Erika which is constant [sic] with someone hiding assets."

Back in November of 2020, the TV personality shocked the public when she filed for divorce from the lawyer after 21 years married.

Less than a month after the filing, Tom, his law firm, and Erika were sued for allegedly embezzling millions.

Erika has denied any sort of involvement or having any knowledge of her ex-husband's business proceedings.

A source told Us Weekly: “Erika was completely unaware of the very serious allegations that were being made against Tom in court.

“Tom always handled all of the finances and that was how they handled things. Erika feels betrayed by Tom because she completely trusted him.”

As the legal drama continues to unfold, Hulu released a special about the scandal called The Housewife and the Hustler.

The documentary disclosed the details of Tom's multi-million dollar legal career and his wife's lavish spending habits.

Erika was recently spotted pumping gas looking disheveled and unkempt after being forced to fire her $40,000 a month glam squad.

The mother of one wore black leggings, a teal blue tee-shirt, no makeup, and large sunglasses to conceal her face in the photos exclusively obtained by The Sun.
