RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter reunites with ‘violent’ ex Matt to celebrate daughter’s birthday 9 months after abuse arrest

REAL Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter reunited with her ex husband Matt on Friday.

She was seen celebrating their daughter Sienna's birthday together, despite his arrest last year for domestic violence.

The reality television star shared a picture and video to her Instagram showing them with a birthday cake and family members.

She captioned the images: "Happy birthday to our beautiful daughter Sienna Rose. So much fun celebrating you last night! ❤️ #coparent #putthekidsfirstalways".

It comes as the couple prepare to return to court on March 26, for a hearing about the domestic violence allegations against him.

Last year, she accused him of choking her and hitting her and took out a restraining order.

According to Orange County court documents obtained by The Sun, there will be a hearing to modify the restraining order later this month.

He was arrested after the alleged assault last June and was charged with felony corporal injury – on spouse/cohabitant and felony false imprisonment effected by violence, menace, fraud, or deceit.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and his trial is pending.

According to court documents, reported by The Blast, Gina says that she returned home after a night out when Matt suddenly showed up “pounding at the door” before quickly coming inside, where he “threw [her] down on the couch and threw some furniture around.”

“[He was] screaming in my face and saying he was going to kill me,” she recalled. “He ripped my bra off, then took a pillow and hit me on the side of the head with it hard. I begged him to stop…to calm down…but he kept hitting me.”

“He started to hit me on the side of the head with his open hand. When I tried to get up off of the couch, he threw me back down and began choking me. Then he started to hit me all over my body,” Gina told them.

When she could escape, Gina ran to a neighbor’s house and rang their doorbell. However, Matt was close behind and “grabbed [her] and dragged [her] on the cement back into the house.”

“He threw me back on the couch started hitting me again telling me he was going to kill me. His eyes were black and nothing I could say would bring him back to reality,” she shared.

According to Gina, she begged Matt to stop, noting that their three kids – Nicholas, 7, Sienna, 6, and Luca, 3 – were nearby, reported the website at the time.

They divorced last year but still are in a bitter fight over child support and alimony as he is seeking to lower the $10,000 a month he was ordered to pay her for their three minor children.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Matt is submitting drug and alcohol tests as part of his divorce settlement, according to RadarOnline.

She has since moved in with new boyfriend Travis Mullen.

The Sun has reached out to her reps for comment and had no reply.
