Since his release from prison, Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey has shared images of his newly toned physique. His daughter Gia shared a video of her father to Instagram where he displays his martial arts prowess. She wrote, “we come back stronger than before❤️ the fights just starting💪🏼 zio pete your a great coach :).”
During his highly anticipated interview with Andy Cohen and wife Teresa, Giudice recounted his released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody. “They wanted to handcuff me,” he said. “But I was like, ‘Listen ‘I’m not gonna get in no handcuffs.’ They are like, ‘Are you gonna behave?’ And I’m like, ‘What the hell am I gonna do?’ If I wanted to leave, I would like kick your butts and leave.”
Cohen looked intrigued after Giudice shared he could have just fought his way to freedom. In footage that wasn’t aired, Cohen asks Giudice if the rumors that he wants to become a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter were true.
He’d like to get paid to beat people up (as opposed to the other way around)
When Cohen asks if he is going to become an MMA fighter, Giudice says he doesn’t know. “I mean, I’d like to,” Giudice responds. “I would like to do something, I’d like that. And I’ll tell you why, not for anything but I’ve done that my whole life, and I’ve always had to pay to go beat people up. Now you get paid to do it.”
He adds, “And you know something? I have a lot of aggression. I would love to just do it just to go in and fight somebody just because I want to fight somebody.”
Giudice claims he doesn’t even care about the money associated with the job. Unfortunately, he shares his prospects are limited in the area where he is currently residing in Italy. “There’s no MMA around here. I gotta like practice on my own … The only thing I could do is go up north.”
He seems to be looking into it though
Giudice sounded more than serious about pursuing MMA as a career. “I just got internet the other day, so I mean I found one in Naples, so I’m going to be looking into it,” Giudice added. “I do want to look into it. If we could get somebody from over there to set it up, it would be even better. I mean, I’ll go through the whole training course, everything else.”
He then shares he not only practiced in prison, but he was also a teacher. “I was even teaching guys in prison,” he shared. “We were fighting in prison. I’ve been training literally for like three-and-a-half years.”
In an earlier clip, Giudice reminded viewers of how easily he makes connections with just about everyone. During his release, he told Cohen how he made sure the agents who escorted him to Italy knew where to go on vacation in the area and dine. “I told [the officers] where to go to have a good time, ” he said. “Because they were staying there until Monday. So they were heading out to a few islands … Naples and then they were headed back home.”
