Riverdale season four is set to be full of surprises and one has already been revealed over the weekend. At New York Comic Con showrunners announced Veronica’s older half-sister Hermosa will be joining the series.
Over the weekend the main cast of Riverdale assembled in Madison Square Garden for this year’s New York Comic Con.
The cast appeared alongside executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to spill new details on the all new upcoming season four of the Netflix show.
In upcoming episodes, fans are set to meet Veronica Lodge’s (played by Camila Mendes) older half-sister Hermosa (Mishel Prada).
The character is set to cause turmoil in the new outing after bosses spoke out about the new addition.

According to TV Guide, bosses said: “She’s just like Daddy but a woman so more dangerous.”
Fear The Walking Dead’s Mishel Prada is set to take the role and her character is sure to cause drama if she’s anything like Hiram (Mark Consuelos).
Could Hermosa be working for him from the outside?
The publication revealed she is a Miami-born private investigator who according to bosses is “just as scheming” as her father.
The new cast member was announced last month by The Hollywood Reporter and is sure to cause problems for Veronica.
After all, she is the reason her father is in jail.
It seems the show have a stylish new villain in town after Hiram was locked up last season.
The publication revealed Hermosa as: “A Miami-born and -raised private investigator who arrives in town in classic femme fatale fashion.

Meanwhile, it seems things have taken a turn for Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols) after showrunners teased a “hot” new romance for the character.
In conversation with TV Line the showrunner Marisol Nichols recently opened up about what’s in store for Hermione since being put behind bars.
The showrunner revealed the new plot even surprised him as he teased what’s to come for the fan-favourite.

Mariol explained: “It was even surprising to me.”
“There’s a really cool, sorta hot scene coming up that I really like.”
Her new love interest is yet to be revealed, but it seems the romance won’t last long if Hiram gets out anytime soon.
Riverdale season 4 starts on October 9 on The CW and October 10 on Netflix.
