Roadkill cast: Who stars in the BBC drama?

NEW BBC thriller Roadkill starring TV legend Hugh Laurie is set to be a riveting watch.

The four-part show tells the story of a "self-made, forceful and charismatic" MP whose life is ripped apart by a scandal.

Who's in the cast of Roadkill?

Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie became a household name while starring in medical drama House between 2004 and 2012.

He won Golden Globes in 2006 and 2007 for his performance.

Laurie also starred in BBC's The Night Manager as baddie Richard Onslow Roper and US comedy Veep.

Helen McCrory

Helen has appeared in Doctor Who and Penny Dreadful – as well as playing Aunt Polly in the hit show, Peaky Blinders.

She also made a brief appearance in James Bond movie Skyfall as an MP as well as taking on the role of Cherie Blair in 2006 movie The Queen.

In 2017 she played Emma Banville in TV mini-series Fearless.

Patricia Hodge

Patricia Hodge is best known for her role in stage production Money in 2000.

Other credits include the 1983 Betrayal, TV show Rumpole of the Bailey and  the TV film Hotel du Lac.

She has appeared in Miranda, playing Penny, and the Downton Abbey 2015 Christmas Special.

Danny Ashok 

Danny played Aamir Malik in Strike: Lethal White.

He has also starred in Cobra and The Dumping Ground.

Ashok appeared briefly on Corrie in 2011 as Amber Kalirai's love interest.

Pippa Bennett-Warner

In 2020, Pippa narrated Bernardine Evaristo's Girl, Woman, Other for the BBC.

She was also in the cast for the Black Lives Matter-inspired series Unsaid Stories.

Pippa also featured in BBC TV series Gangs of London.

Sidse Babett Knudsen

Knudsen played Prime Minister Birgitte Nyborg in the telly smash hit Borgen.

She is also well known for her role as Theresa Cullen in HBO's TV series Westworld.

Knudsen has also starred in popular Danish dramas, such as comedy romance Den Eneste Ene.

Saskia Reeves

Saskia starred as Connie Petersen in BBCS's Us in 2020.

She is known for her roles in Close My Eyes, I.D. and the miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune.

Her television work includes Spooks, The Commander and Luther.

Sarah Greene

Sarah is known for her role in the Dublin Murders.

Sarah's first appearance in a movie was as Imelda Egan in Eden.

Two years later, she went on to play Cathleen in Love and Savagery.

When is Roadkill out on BBC?

Roadkill, airing in four-parts, will kick off on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

It will be on at 9pm on BBC One.

Each episode will be available on the BBC iPlayer after it has aired.
