Stranger Things is one of the most popular shows Netflix as ever seen so it’s no surprise fans have been on the hunt for more clues ever since the season three finale. Now, the latest hint comes from Dustin star Gaten Matarazzo and Will Byers actor Noah Schnapp.

Speaking on the red carpet at Sunday Night’s SAG Awards Gaten wasted no time in hinting at a huge upcoming plot for Will.

He said: “If anyone’s going to spoil something, it might be you.”

Is Will going to be at the centre of season four?

Noah’s co-stars comments certainly made him a little flustered as he quickly shut down in order not to spoil anything.

“Oh… I mean, I don’t want to answer that,” he stuttered.

“I can’t say anything… But what does this all mean?”

Ever since the fourth season was confirmed, showrunners have teased “We’re not in Hawkins anymore”.

Many fans have speculated this mean a dramatic return of the Upside Down.

After all, Will was the one who discovered it.

Season three seemed to confirm Will still has a connection to The Upside Down and the Mind Flayer after he sensed it’s return when out with the gang trying to contact Suzie.

Some theories have even emerged that Will created the alternate universe.

Could Will become trapped in his own monstrous creation once again?

Meanwhile, Gaten has also spoken out about his most favourite theory for season four.

Speaking to Variety, he said: “They’re all interesting.

“My favourite theory is that Suzie’s actually a Russian mastermind and spy working with the Russian government.

“I think it’s so stupid and so funny. I hope that doesn’t play out because that would be weird.”

Speaking out about his upcoming character arc, he added: “It’s really hard to say because I don’t really know where the characters are going. He’s flapping in the wind at this point.

“At the end of the season, all the kids are divided because everyone moves away from Hawkins. Eleven goes with Will and Joyce to go try and find some type of peace and the rest of the gang stays behind.

“I don’t necessarily know how that’s going to work. I mean Mike and El being separated is crazy. I think fans are going to freak out.”

Stranger Things season 1-3 are available to stream on Netflix now.
