Strictly’s Katya Jones responds to claim she has issue with Catherine Tyldesley

Strictly's Katya Jones has broken her silence after fans of the show claimed to spot she had a problem with contestant Catherine Tyldesley.

The professional dancer caused a storm during Saturday night's show when she looked to give the former Coronation Street actress a filthy look.

It came as Catherine and her partner Johannes Radebe chatted with Claudia Winkleman after completing their tango.

Fans went wild after Katya was seen in the background pulling a number of unimpressed faces.

The Russian dancer has since taken to social media to put to bed rumours of a feud with the actress.

Katya took to Instagram to share an image of her stood behind Catherine with the caption: "You make me laugh people!"

Over the weekend viewers had flocked to Twitter to accuse Katya of scowling at her rival competitor.

One tweeted: "I'm not sure if Katya was dishing Catherine Tyldesley a dirty look then or it's just her resting b**** face."

It started after Catherine and her partner Johannes failed to impress the judges with the routine.

When the duo went upstairs to talk to Claudia about the dance, Katya didn't look too impressed.

The professional dancer appeared to scowl as Catherine dissected her routine.

But Katya was given something else to frown about later in the night when wound up in the dance-off with her partner Mike Bushell.

Despite their crowd-pleasing Salsa, the couple were forced to fight for survival against David James and Nadiya Bychkova.

In the end the judges unanimously voted to keep Katya and Mike in the competition and – after numerous appearances in the dance-off – former footballer David was given a red card.

Katya and Mike will continue on with their co-stars in the eagerly anticipated Halloween Special on Saturday.

Yesterday, it was announced they will perform the Tango to Gwen Stefani's What You Waiting For.
