Strictly’s Oti Mabuse reveals she had a backstage rant during Halloween show as she posts pic of her ‘annoyed face’ – The Sun

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse has revealed she had a "rant" backstage during Saturday night's show.

The South African-born dancer, 29, posted a picture of her "annoyed face" on instagram and admitted she was "going OFF" about something when she was caught on camera.

The image on Oti's stories shows her looking angry in her Halloween costume next to fellow contestant Michelle Visage.

Oti captioned the image: "When you're going OFF on a rant and your friend doesn't warn you about the cameras lurking @michellevisage look at you posing."

She then drew an arrow to herself and wrote: "Annoyed face" while she added the words "Gorgeous face" next to Michelle.

It's unclear what had ticked Oti off but she had clearly moved on from it by the time she posted the image as she included a 'crying laughing' emoji.

While a Strictly spokesperson issued a "no comment" when The Sun Online asked about the nature of Oti's self-confessed rant, it may have been that Oti was disappointed with her performance.

She and partner Kelvin Fletcher danced the 'terrifying tango' during the spooky edition of the BBC hit.

And while they received solid praise and a score of 36, the judges did point out that they made a mistake with one of the links.

"I just went a step too early," Kelvin admitted to Claudia Winkleman as he was waiting for his score. "It's so frustrating."

So while Oti may have been stewing over that, she may also have been annoyed about Catherine Tyldesley's shock exit.

There was a huge backlash following the former Corrie actress ending up in the dance off against Mike Bushell before ultimately being sent home.

Even judge Motsi Mabuse, Oti's sister, looked outraged when Catherine was sent home as she voted to save her.

Viewers spotted her shocked face on camera after it was revealed it was Catherine and her partner Johannes Radebe who would be going home.

And Oti was clearly disappointed by their early exit too.

When Johannes posted a picture of him and Catherine looking emotional backstage, Oti commented: "I love you always and forever".

Mike, who survived the dance off to compete this weekend, revealed that he even received a death threat from one angry viewer after Catherine was eliminated.

Talking about the threat he'd received, after wife Emily begged fans to stop abusing him, following week six of the BBC ballroom show he told how: "It said that unless I withdraw from the competition now I'm a dead man.

"It was personal and I thought WTF. There are bigger things in the world to worry about. I get that people have their own favourite dancers but it's an entertainment show at the end of the day and to get a death threat is ridiculous."

The show has also been struck by a series of injuries this weekend after Will Bayley hurt his knee during rehearsals and Neil Jones also had to miss the show.

It is thought Will will announce he is permanently withdrawing from the competition today.
