Eleanor Shellstrop and the gang are back – and The Good Place has finally returned to TV screens everywhere. Season four landed on Netflix today (September 27) for the final installment of the incredible comedy, which will see Eleanor, Tahani, Jason and Michael fight to save humanity – after Chidi’s mind was erased. With four new humans to test to the limits – who is in the new cast?

Who is Brent in The Good Place?
Brent Norwalk is one of the new humans sent to The Good Place to test Eleanor and her friends on their mission to prove humans can change for the better.
The latest addition to the cast is a living embodiment of white male privilege – instantly irritating Eleanor with comments about racist jokes he has made in the past.
He also drops random jabs at Captain Marvel and launches into rants about political correctness ‘gone mad’.
But the most annoying thing about Brent is trying to work out where you’ve seen that face before.
Brent is played by none other than Ben Koldyke, an American actor who was most recently seen starring in Mr Robinson for NBC.
The actor is best known for The Finest Hours (2016) and Masters of Sex (2013) – but he wasn’t always in the industry.
Ben was originally a high school English teacher and football coach in Chicago, but his career rocketted after a chance encounter with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney.
After spotting him at a cafe, Ben decided to cover Rob’s tab – leaving a note to say his show was “fantastic”.
The exchange led to one of his first ever TV pilots, Boldly Going Nowhere, for Fox a few years later.

Since then Koldyke went on to book recurring roles as Dale Tomasson in the HBO series Big Love and as Don Frank in How I Met Your Mother for CBS.
In 2012, he starred as the lead character in the short-lived ABC comedy series Work It and later guest starred in HBO’s The Newsroom.
Koldyke was seen on the big screen in 2016 in a supporting role for Disney’s The Finest Hours alongside Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Eric Bana, and Ben Foster.
Now, the actor has made his way over to Netlix with his appearance as Brent.
What will happen in The Good Place season 4?
In the final season’s premiere episode, the Soul Squad Minus One meet their four new humans – which includes Simone ( Chidi’s ex-girlfriend played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste), Brent, Linda (Rachel Winfree) and gossip blogger John (Brandon Scott Jones).
Linda turns out to be Hot Demon Chris (Luke Guldan) and so the Judge decides to replace him with Chidi in the experiment.
While neuroscientist Simone has convinced herself that she is in a coma and The Good Place is not real – forcing a heartbroken Eleanor to force her towards Chidi for the greater good of the experiment.
What happens next is anyone’s guess – The Good Place is sure to keep fans guessing.
