This Country’s Daisy May Cooper expecting second baby with husband Will Weston

This Country star Daisy May Cooper has announced she is pregnant with her second child, breaking the happy news over Instagram.

The actress and her husband Will Weston, are already proud parents to daughter Pip.

Breaking the news over Instagram, she said: “Thrilled to say me and @willwestonlandscape are expecting another babber."

Daisy shared a snap of their ultrasound, making it clear she couldn't wait to welcome a fourth member to their family.

The lovebirds tied the knot last September, marking the occasion with an intimate ceremony in the Cotswolds.

Ahead of the occasion, Daisy paid tribute to her co-star and childhood friend Michael Sleggs, who tragically died in July 2019.

She said: "It’s me wedding tomorrow and this one was going to be one of my bridesmaids in a white suit.

"I miss you so much and I will miss you so bloody much tomorrow. Thank the lord for slugs x."

Michael played Slugs in the hit BBC drama This Country, which follows the lives of best pals Kerry and Kurtan in rural England.

Daisy first co-wrote the series with brother, and co-star, Charlie Cooper back in 2014.

The duo announced they would say goodbye to the series after season three wraps, with the series finale airing next Monday.

Daisy's happy news comes as brother Charlie announced was suffering from coronavirus, revealing his symptoms over social media.

He said: "Haven’t been properly tested but I most definitely have it. Felt awful yesterday but a bit better today thankfully. Seems to come and go in waves.”

He added: “Over the weekend I felt a slight tickle in the back of my throat and started to feel achy which got worse throughout Sunday evening.

“Then that night woke up at about 2am/3am with cold sweats, full body ache and high temperature.

“Took some paracetamol and began to feel a bit better, so much that I was up around the house, then began to feel worse again on Monday evening with a tight chest and shortness of breath.”
