Tiger King star Doc Antle hits back at ‘cub killing’ and ‘harem of wives’ claims on Netflix doc – The Sun

TIGER KING star Doc Antle fires back claims of "cub'killing" and that he had a "harem of wives."

The Netflix doc has opened the door to a world of keeping exotic animals and the docuseries has been trending all over Atlantic.

Bhagavan 'Doc' Antle blasted the series as "salacious" and claims the show's producers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaikli failed to mention his conservations efforts in South Africa.

There were suggestions that the tiger cubs were killed when they no longer served their purpose and former employee at his site Barbara Fisher, claimed he had "multiple wives and a harem of groomed girlfriends" which included herself.

He told TMX.news: "Euthanizing cubs is illegal, immoral, and absolutely never happens here and never has."

Doc added: "I have girlfriends. I'm a single guy – just massive judgmentalness of somehow I'm not supposed to have girlfriends or something is just off my rocker here how they got to this point."

"The girls that they're showing throughout the facility, these are the girls who are the wives of staff who live here."

Antle continued to fend off the bold claims and suggested that the documentary doesn't show the whole picture.

"And the team is half men. Did you see any men in the series? They cut them all out to make it appear this is a girl place. This is a boy place. The star is my son and my grandson.

"There are lovely hardworking girls here that take care of this facility and they are stars in their own right."

The makers of Tiger King have denied they "coerced" one of the Netflix documentary's main subjects into taking part.

Joe Exotic, a tiger trader who is embroiled in an epic feud with Carole Baskin, who owns the Big Cat Rescue Sanctuary in Florida.

In a blog post, the blonde claimed the series “lies” to attract viewers and that the interviewees are "not credible".

She went on to say that it has a segment "devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don 21 years ago".
