Love Island seems to be cooling down as more islanders are single than happily coupled up at the moment.
However, Tommy Fury, 20, and Molly-Mae Hague, 19, had a tough start to their romance when the boxer’s head was almost turned by Maura Higgins, 28.
But the pair have gone from strength to strength and tonight Tommy will also Molly-Mae to be his girlfriend.
The duo have also won the hearts of the nation leading them to break betting records as their odds of winning the show are shorter than any other couple since Love Island began in 2015.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have revealed the couple are now just 1/12 to win the series, while Belle Hassan, 21, and Anton Danyluk, 24, are close behind.
Michael Griffiths, 27, and Joanna Chimonides, 22, are the third favourites to win with odds of 11/1.
Speaking about Tommy and Molly-Mae’s chances of winning, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said they’ve “stormed ahead” of the others in the betting.
“Tommy and Molly-Mae have stormed ahead in the betting and with drama unfolding across the rest of the villa, the pair will only get shorter in the betting over the next few weeks,” Alex said.
Tonight, Tommy will make a romantic gesture to ask Molly-Mae to be his girlfriend using her cuddly toy Ellie-Belly.
He also enlists the help of Curtis Pritchard to help write a note for his beau in eyeliner.
“Ellie-Belly wants to tell you something. He told me to come and get his Mum,” Tommy tells Molly-Mae.
The influencer is understandably confused but heads up to the terrace with Tommy to find Ellie-Belly.
“Dear Mummy. Daddy left me here in his best interests,” the note reads.
“He wanted me to tell you that you’re his everything. I’m going to leave it with Daddy. So…”
Tommy takes over telling the blonde beauty: “On a serious note, you know how much you mean to me and you’re the only girl for me.
“I only want to be with you. Therefore, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?”
Will Molly-Mae accept Tommy’s proposal and agree to be his girlfriend?
Reflecting on the moment, Tommy heads to the Beach Hut and explains: “Asking Molly-Mae to be my girlfriend was single-handedly the most nervous I’ve ever been in my entire life.”
Also tonight, Maura confronts Amy Hart, 27, about her feelings for Curtis explaining she’s making a move on the dancer.
Love Island airs tonight on ITV at 9pm.
