TOWIE fans in meltdown as cast address Pete and Chloe ‘romance’ for first time

The Only Way Is Essex fans were sent into meltdown during Wednesday's episode as the ITVBe cast finally addressed Chloe Sims and Pete Wicks' said "romance".

Chloe and Pete sparked speculation they were more than friends during lockdown after they had a huge row and didn't speak for months.

Tonight, some of the Essex pals were in London and they mentioned the reported secret "relationship".

Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet were telling James Lock and Yaz Oukhellou about Chloe and Pete's recent row when they went out for dinner.

Yaz said: "Is it a more than friends thing do you think? Or just friends?"

There was a huge silence while Georgia and Tommy smiled nervously, and Lockie looked at Yaz suspiciously.

Charlie finally said: "I honestly think that it could be."

Yaz added: "See I've got friends, and for example if I didn't speak to them for a couple of days, I wouldn't get as upset about it.

"Do you see where I'm coming from? If it was just friends."

Fans were aghast that the Essex cast finally mentioned Chloe and Pete's rumoured relationship.

One said: "Loool Yaz said it."

While another wrote: "Yes @YazminOukhellou only cast member with the balls to state the obvious. Love you."

"#Towie @YazminOukhellou "is it more than just friends" @JamesLock__ kinhell Yaz tell the whole of The UK why don't ya", tweeted a third.
