PASTRY Week is the next theme that our talented bakers will take on in the next instalment of The Great British Bake Off as they fight for a place in the semi-final.
But what exactly will they be creating for the judges? Here’s all we know about Tuesday’s episode…
What will happen in episode eight of Bake Off?
Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding will be back to host a pastry-filled episode in the culinary competition.
The episode will start with the remaining baker’s showing off their prowess in the Signature challenge – which will be a savoury take on a French classic.
They’ll then move on to the Technical round, which will see them create a multi-layered Moroccan pastry.
Then it will be on to a towering Showstopper which requires an expertise with pastry AND a solid grasp of structural engineering. No pressure then!
When is episode eight of Bake Off on TV?
The Great British Bake Off 2019 will return on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 8pm on Channel 4.
The show runs every Tuesday for three more weeks.
The final is likely to be on November 5, 2019 – but this is still to be confirmed.
If you miss the hour and a half long episode you can catch it on Channel 4+1 or the All 4.
Who is likely to be eliminated in Week Seven of Bake Off?
Well there are quite a few people in the firing line as a few of the bakers failed to impress as much as they would have liked during Festival Week.
The first up is Rosie who the judges think is talented but does not seem to execute all of her ideas as well as she needs to.
David has consistently impressed the judges but failed to do enough to win many Technical challenges, or be named Star Baker.
Alice looks like she might be crumbling under pressure, so we could be saying goodbye to her in Pastry Week?
