Jeremy Clarkson was in awe this evening when one Who Wants to Be a Millionaire contestant appeared to guess her way to £125,000. But after setting her second safety net at £32,000, Nina decided to risk the large sum for a chance to win £250,000 and viewers weren’t happy when the player confessed she wasn’t sure of the answer but wanted to take another educated guess.

The Grand Tour favourite asked Nina to name the function of a “hypocaust” in Roman Architecture.

Nina filtered the options down to two, heating or refrigeration, and took a gamble by going with the latter.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire fans were stunned at the contestant for taking a risk when there was so much money at stake.

One said: “#WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire why would you gamble 93k on a pure guess?”
