Amanda Holden’s daughter captures hilarious video of her wearing goggles while ‘attempting to cook’

Amanda Holden's daughter has taken a very funny video of her mum wearing protective goggles while peeling onions.

The eight year old snuck up on her mum while she was attempting to make French onion soup for the family. In the clip, Amanda can be seen wearing navy shorts with a black jumper which has white polka dots printed on it.

Her hilarious goggles appear neon orange, which coincidentally looks to be coordinated with her bright orange trainers.

Hollie Rose, who Amanda shares with her former music producer husband Chris Hughes, inches closer to her mum as she tells viewers: "My mummy is cooking onions, she doesn't know I'm videoing her."

Amanda, who is also mum to 14 year old Alexa Louise Florence, then turns around to show her hilarious eye-wear and says: "Hollie Rose Hughes," before pointing at her while laughing and adding: "Turn it off!"

The 49 year old, who recently sent fans wild as she presented her Heart radio show in her silky pyjamas, captioned it: "Sorry for the lack of fashion! I was attempting a French onion soup!

"It’s turned out pretty well for someone that never ever cooks but now I have the time and to be honest -I am loving it. (See the picture on stories) [sic]

"Meanwhile my little #HRH caught me in goggles and the most unflattering outfit chopping onions!!"

Fans of the celebrity judge, whose show Britain's Got Talent recently postponed live filming amid the coronavirus outbreak, were quick to comment as one person wrote: "Loving the goggles," alongside two laughing face emojis and two pink heart emojis.

Another said: "That onion peeling looks like a right effort," as a third added: "The goggles are a must!!" [sic] with a laughing face emoji.

Others couldn't help but notice that Amanda was peeling onions with a knife on her bare worktop table rather than placing a chopping board to protect the surface.

Pointing this out, one of her 1.3 million followers said: "Worried about you chopping on your worktop," with a laughing face emoji.

Over this, she wrote: "Yes I definitely added some (vino) to the soup and some to my mouth!"
