Country singer Canaan Smith told the world that he and his wife Christy are expecting their first child.
“I don’t know which was better — the news or the happiness on her face,” Canaan Smith told People about the moment Christy revealed to him the news of her pregnancy.
The child is expected in November, but the sex is not identified.
In celebration of the news, Smith wrote a song “Life Ain’t Fair,” in collaboration with Corey Crowder and Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard.
The 37 year old singer-songwriter released a music video to the song, featuring scenes of Smith and Christy spending time together. One of them shows Smith kissing his wife’s baby bump.
The couple married five years ago.
