Fans of Ed Sheeran are wondering why he hasn’t made a public statement in support of his friend Taylor Swift after she publicly called out Scooter Braun for the “incessant, manipulative bullying” that she’s allegedly received at his hands for years.
It all started when Scooter bought her former label, Big Machine, and now owns all of her master recordings.
Things get more complicated because Ed just worked with Justin Bieber, who is Scooter‘s client and one of his biggest supporters.
Well, a fan took to Ed‘s Instagram to defend him and make the point that he might have contacted Taylor privately to discuss what went down between her and Scooter.
“I have been speaking directly to her, like I always do,” Ed said.
