Gemma Atkinson, 36, has been left enraged after she caught a man filming her and daughter Mia, one, while they were out shopping in a supermarket. The former Hollyoaks star questioned the motives of the man, as she said it was “weird” for him to be using his camera phone around young children.
Taking to her Instagram story, Gemma addressed the incident in view of her 1.6 million followers.
She said: “I was in the supermarket before and a guy, bless him, he did that thing where he walked past with his phone recording, but when he put his phone down it was still on record, so I seen it.
“It was a bit weird because I was with Mia. That’s why I was a bit like, ‘Eurghhh, that’s a bit odd.’
“I very nearly said, ‘You’re still recording’ to make light out of it because I didn’t want to embarrass him.
“But I’m not saying he did want a picture, but I would have had a picture if that was the case, no problem.
“Wouldn’t bother me at all, but when I got back, I was like, it’s a little bit weird when I was with Mia.
“To film anyone is just odd. So yeah, better camera skills next time buddy, or just have the balls to say, ‘Can I have a pic?’ and I’d say, ‘Yeah’.
