Gwyneth Paltrow on her ‘wild’ COVID-19 recovery, ‘amazing’ quarantine with husband

Gwyneth Paltrow may still be dealing with long-term side effects of COVID-19, but the wellness mogul is rocking being a CEO and embracing the extra time with her husband and kids.

The Goop founder appeared on the “Today” show Thursday for an interview with Savannah Guthrie, talking about her coronavirus recovery and some of the “long-haul symptoms” she is still dealing with.

“Sometimes (the symptoms) come back a little bit, but I think I’m better and better,” she told Guthrie. “It’s been pretty crazy though. It’s been pretty wild I’m not going to lie.”

Paltrow revealed earlier this year that she “had COVID-19 early on,” in a blog post to her Goop website. “It left me with some long-tail fatigue and brain fog,” she shared without specifying the exact time frame.

Pandemic aside, it seems to have been a pretty good year for Paltrow, who said spending time at home with her husband, TV writer Brad Falchuk, was “amazing.”

“I married the right dude,” she said. “Like he is the best … There is nobody better to be stuck with.”

Gwyneth Paltrow recalls Chris Martin split: ‘I never would’ve wanted to get divorced’

She also spoke about her children, Apple Martin, 16, and Moses Martin, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin.

The 16-year-old was “part of the product development process” for one of Goop’s new products, Paltrow shared, and she helped launch it with a funny TikTok video that shows her trolling her mom.

As for whether her daughter will go into the family business, Paltrow said both her kids are still unsure about future plans.

“I think both of my kids are sort of like, ‘We don’t want to think about what we want to do. We just kinda want to see what unfolds,’ ” she said.

And Paltrow is soaking up the laissez-faire moments with them.

“There are some really significant, profound silver Iinings from this crazy 12 months and that time with the kids has been definitely on the top of the list,” she said.
