Holly Willoughby sends sweet message to Ant McPartlin after missing his wedding

Holly Willoughby congratulated Ant McPartlin after he tied the knot with partner Anne-Marie Corbett over the weekend.

The Britain’s Got Talent star, 45, wed his former PA, 43, after three years of dating at St Michael’s Church in Heckfield on Saturday.

The ceremony was of course a star-studded affair with the likes of Declan Donnelly, Phillip Schofield, Alesha Dixon and Dermot O’Leary on the guestlist.

Holly was unable to attend his big day but did send him a message of congratulations when she shared photos from his wedding on Instagram.

The This Morning presenter previously stepped in for Ant on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018 when he took time out from the limelight to undergo recovery following his arrest for drink-driving.

A picture of a cheering Ant holding hands with his smiling new bride was posted from the official Instagram account he shares with long time presenting partner Dec, with the caption: ‘Mr and Mrs McPartlin!!’.

Holly commented: ‘Congratulations’, adding four red love hearts to her message.

The TV star’s famous friends including Amanda Holden, Laura Whitmore and Ashley Roberts also left happy messages in the replies.

Amanda was unable to be at the wedding as she is currently on holiday abroad, but she apologised to the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star on social media saying: ‘So sorry we will miss @antanddec special day…we are still away. Sending our love and huge congratulations to Ant & Amzie on this special day.’

Phillip, who attending the ceremony with Stephanie Lowe, couldn’t praise the special day highly enough.

He told the Sunday Mirror: ‘It was amazing. It was really fun, really nice, warm and cheerful. I really enjoyed it.’

Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams, another wedding guest, added: ‘It was very romantic.

‘They have a great sense of humour so there were a few laughs.’
