Announcing the exciting news in view of his 252,000 followers earlier today, Rupy gushed over his soon-to-be-wife, Rochelle.

He wrote: “Happy 2022! To kick off the year I wanted to introduce you to someone very special to me..

“Rochelle my fiancé!”

The star went on: “I usually keep this side of my life private but this year will mark a huge change in both of our lives and we can’t wait to start this chapter together.”

The Morning Live host went on to ask his followers to welcome his fiancée in the comments.

He also went on to detail the responsibilities that she now has following her newly-acquired bride-to-be status.

Rupy wrote: “Plus, she has a lot of jobs being ‘Mrs. Doctor’s Kitchen’ that she has yet to discover, including:

“Holding the video camera whenever I cook, recipe testing all meals, shushing everyone around the flat whenever I’m podcasting,” he wrote, alongside a series of laughing face emojis.

He continued: “On a serious note, I’m super lucky to be in a relationship with such a wonderful person and meeting the amazing extended Australian-Italian family over Christmas has been brilliant.

“I’ll be coming to Aus a lot more often,” he revealed.

The star told his fans that Rochelle was “a bit shy” before signing off the post from both of them.

“She’s a bit shy so feel free to say hi in the comments,” he wrote.

We wish you the best for this new year, and I look forward to helping you making it the healthiest in body and mind.

“I’ll be back in mid Jan ‘22 ready with new podcasts, recipes, newsletters and a lot more to come.

“Much love, Rupy and Rochelle x,” he finished the caption.

The Morning Live star shared a sweet snap of him and bride-to-be Rochelle enjoying a sun-drenched lunch together while appearing in good spirits.

Posting the same picture, the official BBC Morning Live account re-shared the news.

After spotting the exciting announcement, Janette shared the post to her stories, alongside a GIF that read “congratulations”.
