Keke Palmer wears a pink leather jacket dress while attending the #BlogHer19 Creators Summit held at Brooklyn Expo Center on Wednesday afternoon (September 18) in New York City.
The 26-year-old actress and TV host took the stage to talk about her new movie Hustlers and more.
“Prayer and faith is nothing without hard work. We can talk about it all day long. I know I’m always going to work hard for the things that I want,” Keke shared of the best lesson she’s learned from her mentor Queen Latifah.
Keke also dished on her favorite scene from Hustlers.
“My favorite moment – there’s a scene in the movie when Usher comes into the club…We’re going into the club and find out Usher is in the club,” she said. “I auditioned for Usher when I was ten years old, and now I’m stripping for him, grinding on JLo and Lizzo. In that moment we were embraced by one another, we were able to celebrate what makes us beautiful instead of feeling shame from it.”
