Lizzo dishes on her racy conversations with Rihanna and the sexy celeb couple she wants a call from, plus more news

Lizzo reveals which celeb sent her ‘the most salacious DM’ ever

On the Monday, July 18, edition of “Watch What Happens Live,” Lizzo got candid about a number of her Hollywood peers, including Rihanna, who she named whenasked about “the most salacious DM” she’s ever received. “I think that’s just how she talks,” Lizzo reasoned. Rih’s sexy vibe apparently isn’t limited to her DMs, though. “My conversations with Rihanna are more sexual, I guess,” Lizzo told Andy Cohen when asked about their friendship. When he tried to clarify whether she meant the singers “talk about sex a lot,” specifically, Lizzo explained: “We don’t talk about sex a lot, but we’re just always giving it to each other. We don’t talk about work, it’s all play with me.” She then added that things have been a bit different since Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their first child together earlier this year. “But not since she’s been, you know, mommy. ‘Mommihanna,'” Lizzo joked. “So, congratulations to her and ASAP Rocky.” Later on the show, the “About D*** Time” singer indulged Andy in a game of “About d*** time or don’t waste my time,” during which Andy mentioned newlyweds Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s seemingly endless appetite for PDA. “Let me get in the middle of that,” Lizzo replied. “I sat with them at the Met Gala and I fully enjoyed it. So, it’s about d*** time they call me,” she joked. The singer recently pledged $500,000 from her upcoming “Special” tour to Planned Parenthood — a pledge promoter Live Nation has vowed to match. “I am about that action,” the Houstonian said of her fundraising plan. “When people need help and I have resources or can help people get resources, I’m going to do it.”

When Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally tied the knot in Las Vegas over the weekend, both the bride and the groom teared up with emotion. That’s according to Kenosha Portis, an employee at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Sin City, who witnessed Ben and Jen’s decades-in-the-making nuptials firsthand. “It was so exciting,” Kenosha told the hosts of “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, July 19. “I mean, we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in. … I started shaking a little bit. Like, ‘This is Jennifer Lopez we are getting ready to marry!'” Kenosha went on to describe the happy couple’s matching white flowers — a “beautiful bouquet” for the “stunning” bride and matching boutonnière for the groom — and their “sweet” and “emotional” service, which Jen later revealed took place just after midnight on Saturday night. “They cried to each other,” while reading their vows, Kenosha added, noting that “their kids were right behind them.” Ben, 49, and Jen, 52, had plenty of time to come up with those vows, too. After getting engaged during their first stab at romance back in 2002, they ended up calling off the wedding plans, having determined the media attention had become too intense. They split a few months later before reuniting in early 2021. This time around, they seemed determined not to let external pressures ruin what Jen said in her newsletter was the “best night of our lives.” As for the glare of the spotlight, Kenosha’s “GMA” comments suggest the wedding was a secret until they walked into the chapel. And Jen’scontrolled the couple’s personal narrative from the engagement right through the wedding by sharing major relationship milestones in her On The JLo newsletter. “We did it,” she wrote on Sunday. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.” The lovebirds are planning a second, larger celebration, for friends and more family, People reported this week.

The Weeknd flies 6-year-old fan and his dad to Philly for concert, backstage hang after Toronto show mishap

Need to restore your faith in humanity just a tiny bit? Well, look no further than The Weeknd’s recent superhero move. The Canadian singer made a 6-year-old fan’s dreams come true and then some last week when he swooped in with backstage tickets and a first class flight to his concert in Philadelphia after his July 8 Toronto show was postponed due to a widespread wireless outage in the region. The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, retweeted a photo taken outside Toronto’s Rogers Centre that showed a little boy clad in a red suit jacket a la Abel’s “Blinding Lights” video, looking utterly forlorn, presumably after the show was called off. The person who first posted the pic captioned it, “THIS LITTLE BOY IS CRYING … I CAN’T.” In his retweet, Abel asked, “Can someone please find him for me?” Someone did. As Blake Prince, the father of the young fan, Phoenix, would later tell People, he was identified as Phoenix’s dad, which prompted a flood of messages on his Instagram.”… They’re like, ‘Abel is looking for your son, The Weeknd is looking for your son,'” said Blake, who manages a club in Hamilton, Ontario, outside Toronto. According to Blake, it wasn’t long before he was in contact with Abel’s team, who gifted Blake and Phoenix a first-class flight to Philly, a hotel room for their stay and tickets to the show. Abel also had Phoenix listen in on his soundcheck before heading backstage to meet the band, the backup dancers and Abel himself. “… [then] There was The Weeknd and he had the biggest smile on his face,” Blake said of the meet and greet. “Phoenix smiled right back and Abel kneeled down on his knee, opened his arms and gave Phoenix a huge hug and was just like, ‘Dude, you look so good.’ He’s like, ‘Thank you so much for coming and for being here.'” Blake and Phoenix reportedly hung out with Abel for half an hour before watching the concert from a private box and side stage platform. The postponed Toronto concert was slated to be The Weeknd’s kickoff for his After Hours til Dawn Tour.

Khloe Kardashian reacts to Tristan Thompson’s apparent date pics in Greece

Once again, Khloe Kardashian is reminding the world she’s moved on from Tristan Thompson and his cheating scandals. A few days after Khloe’s rep confirmed the reality star is expecting a second child with Tristan via surrogate, TMZ published photos of the Cavaliers star holding hands with an unidentified woman in Greece. After a fan account shared video of the pair’s stroll on Instagram this week, reminding fans in the caption, “To everyone that’s freaking out about this video of Tristan in Greece with another girl, Khloe and Tristan are both single,” Khloe gave the sentiment a quiet thumbs-up with a “like,” according to E! News. Last week, an insider told the outlet, “Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.” Over on Instagram, the fan account also had Khloe’s support when it shared a message reading: “I don’t know why it would be crazy for Tristan to be with another girl as long as he’s a good dad to his baby which we don’t know when Khloe’s surrogate is due.” Khloe and Tristan’s second child was reportedly conceived via surrogate in November, weeks before Marlaee Nichols sued Tristan in a paternity suit, claiming he’d fathered a child with her while he was still with Kourtney earlier in 2021. Tristan’s since confirmed the baby boy is his and apologized publicly to Khloe.

Justin Bieber to resume tour following Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis

Justin Bieber is just about ready to resume his Justice tour after being sidelined by a scary bout with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. The singer’s team announced Justin “will start his tour again at the end of July” on Instagram on Tuesday, July 19, adding a direct note to Justin about his recovery. “💜 happy to see you well & can’t wait to see you on stage JB! #BIEBERISBACK,” the post read. Justin announced his diagnosis in June, explaining to fans that he was suffering from partial facial paralysis, a common symptom of the disorder, which is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. A few weeks later, Hailey Bieber said his condition was improving during an appearance on “Good Morning America.” Justin’s pal Usher, meanwhile, told “Extra” this week that he’s been able to “hang out” with his longtime pal and was pleased to see how much support Justin’s been getting from fans. The Justice World Tour returns July 31 with a performance at Italy’s Lucca Festival, followed by stops throughout South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Dates have not yet been announced for the shows Justin’s had to reschedule in the U.S., according to TMZ.

Cher reflects on painful miscarriage at 18

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe vs. Wade, yielding a boom in state-level abortion bans, experts have warned such laws will likely curtail women’s access to care for miscarriages, which often require the use ofprocedures and medications used for abortions. On Twitter on Monday, July 18, Cher recalled her personal experiences with pregnancy loss, expressing concern for others who may now find themselves in similarly scary situations — without adequate health care. “When I was young I had 3 miscarriages.1st at 18,” the singer shared. “I was alone in our house,” she continued, recalling that her then-partner Sonny Bono “came home & I was sobbing,& rocking on our floor.” Cher continued: “When I got 2 dr I was screaming in pain. couldn’t even stop in elevator. dr sent me straight 2 hospital,& in2 operating rm. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN 2 ME TODAY😭.” Her post was met largely with confusion by Twitter users who suggested anyone suffering a miscarriage in a state where abortion is banned without exception would receive immediate care. As Forbes reported prior to the SCOTUS’ decision on Roe, patients who were miscarrying in Texas were already “struggling to obtain their prescribed medication” amid fear pharmacists could be charged with facilitating an abortion, not treating a miscarriage, when the medication is the same.
