Love Island Curtis Pritchard’s best friend reveals his romance with Maura Higgins WON’T work in the outside world

Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins are now coupled up on Love Island, after she bravely opened up on her feelings for him following his split from Amy Hart.

And since the recouping last week, where the dancer chose Maura, the pair have appeared inseparable as well as getting very cosy under the covers.

Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, the 23 year old’s childhood friend has spoken about his new romance with the Irish model, 28.

Giving her opinion on the pair, Chloe, who has known Curtis for 14 years, revealed she wasn’t ‘convinced’ their relationship will work on the outside.

“I can tell Curtis is into Maura. I’m starting to warm to them, but I’m not convinced their relationship will work on the outside,” she started.

Before continuing: “It could be a summer romance and they come back to reality. I do believe Maura likes him.”

Explaining her reasons, Chloe confirmed: “Their lives are very different and they’re opposite in in what they want.

“I love that Maura is upfront and feisty but I think she’s a bit overpowering.

“He’s found a bit of fun in Maura; Curtis is thinking about the now and not the future. I wanted him to go with Francesca because there might have been a bit more longevity there.”

Meanwhile, the message Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard sent Maura Higgins last year has been revealed at last.

Upon her arrival in the villa, Curtis revealed he had “slid into” Maura’s DM’s after discovering her on Instagram.
