McFly's Tom Fletcher and his partner Amy Dowden have returned to training for Strictly Come Dancing, after recovering from coronavirus.

Just one day after the first Strictly 2021 live show, Amy and Tom both tested positive for Covid-19 which meant they had to isolate and couldn't perform in week two of the series.

They will return to the dancefloor again this Saturday, when they will be dancing the jive, and have been spotted making their way to training.

Tom was wearing a mask as he exited a car and made his way to a practice session with Amy.

Both stars took to their Instagram stories today to show their followers what they get up to in training.

Tom also posted a photo of him doing the school run which he hasn't been able to do in isolation.

As well as training for Strictly, Tom was also touring with his band McFly, but he had to pull out of the remaining dates when he contracted Covid-19.

At the time, a photo was posted on the band's Instagram with the caption: "Further to our last message we can now confirm that Tom has tested positive for Covid-19.

"He is now self isolating and following the latest government guidelines. Please join us in wishing him a speedy recovery."

Tom then posted a video in which he apologised to fans, but explained that the tour was going ahead without him.

This Saturday will see Strictly's Movie Week take place, and Tom and Amy will be dancing to Johnny Be Good from Back To The Future.

Tom has hinted at what his return to the dancefloor will include on Instagram, posting a photograph of himself with a guitar.
