Ranvir Singh, 43, and Giovanni Pernice, 30, have set tongues wagging following their steamy performances on Strictly Come Dancing 2020. It comes as the pair were seen linking arms – and maybe holding hands – as they left Elstree Studios after filming It Takes Two on Friday.

The photos showed Giovanni sporting a stylish suit, while Ranvir wore a dark green mid-length dress.

The cosy pair linked arms as they left the spin-off together and got into an awaiting car, in images obtained by the MailOline.

Ranvir has since addressed the pictures as she rubbished rumours of a blossoming romance.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, the broadcaster chatted with hosts Piers, Morgan, 55, and Susanna Reid, 49.

Ranvir shut down romance claims as Piers probed her about “holding hands” with her dance partner away from the dancefloor.

He quizzed: “I’ve got to ask you about the hand holding pictures we saw in the papers.”

“Apparently you’re besotted,” Susanna added.

Ranvir replied: “These things sell newspapers don’t they Piers as you well know.

“It’s funny, isn’t it? I don’t really read any of it. So it doesn’t really mean anything.”

Susanna attempted to move the conversation away from Giovanni and onto her colleague’s Strictly experience, as she defended her saying Ranvir “held her dance partner’s elbow and not his hand”.

But Piers wouldn’t let up on the images.

She said: “It’s quite funny, isn’t it? I’ve watched the show before and you want to believe in the dream.

“That’s part of the magic of Strictly. It’s make-believe, it’s fantasy, it’s beautiful.”

“Let the record show I’ve asked about the hand-holding pictures and there’s no denial,” Piers replied.

“I’m looking at the pictures and I just think, two plus two equals four.”

Ranvir responded: “I think you should stick to words, you’re rubbish at maths.”

The GMB host then quizzed Ranvir on whether she would be spending Christmas with Giovanni as they’re in the same “social bubble”.

“No I’ll be spending it with the main man in my life: my eight-year-old son,” Ranvir replied.

Meanwhile, the GMB presenter and Giovanni scored 24 points for their American Smooth last weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One Saturday at 7.25pm. Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
