Regé-Jean Page Makes a Rare Appearance with His Girlfriend, Emily Brown

Our collective TV boyfriend, Regé-Jean Page, has reminded us that he’s spoken for.

The Bridgerton actor had a rare public outing with his girlfriend, Emily Brown, last night at the British GQ Men of the Year Awards. The pair held hands as they entered the event at the Tate Modern in London, marking their first public appearance as a couple. Page received the Standout Performance of the Year Award for portraying the Duke of Hastings in the hit Netflix show.

Page sported a forest-green suit embroidered with spirals, while Brown wore a black suit with a lacy black bralette underneath.

The 31-year-old actor walked the red carpet solo. He posed with his jacket open, revealing the three-piece suit’s matching vest and a silver pocket chain.

Page later posed with his award alongside one of his Bridgerton costars, Adjoa Andoh, who plays his TV aunt, Lady Danbury.

Though Page plays a royal on the Netflix romance, it seems that the actor is into non-famous women. He and Brown, a copywriter and part-time soccer player, were first linked last February, when they were photographed embracing before the actor caught a flight, per Page Six.

The rumored James Bond candidate made waves when he announced his exit from Bridgerton earlier this year. In an interview with GQ, Page opened up about auditioning for the show and wrapping his head around the steamy material. He also addressed the show’s diversity and how it goes against the Hollywood tradition of whitewashing history.

“The reason you think history is white is because you’ve been lied to,” he said. “It’s not that we’re being politically correct. It’s that we’ve been, very deliberately, politically incorrect.

He added, “I think it becomes very obvious who was excluded from the game previously. It just became vaguely ludicrous that it was such an issue before. You know, ‘How will this work?’ Um, we’ll do the acting!”
