“SOME OPPORTUNITIES HAVE PRESENTED THEMSELVES, THAT I FELT I COULD NOT TURN DOWN & SO AFTER FULLY CONSIDERING THE LATEST GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES. I DECIDED TO TRAVEL.

“OBVIOUSLY I WILL BE QUARANTINING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS UPON MY RETURN.”

The star went on to share more insight into her trip on her Instagram stories, sharing videos of her glamorous looking hotel room and chocolate covered stories.

Later, she shared videos of the reception area of her hotel and a snapshot while relaxing in a swinging chair.

Chloe’s announcement comes after several reality stars and influencers have been criticised for travelling out of the UK during coronavirus restrictions. Current UK restrictions allow travel if it is for work purposes and many of the stars who have flown abroad have cited this as their reason to travel.

Love Island star Olivia Attwood recently slammed fellow influencers who had travelled abroad in recent months in a rant to her Instagram followers.

Olivia, 29, told her followers: “There is a difference between being able to earn money from wherever you are than being on holiday for work.

“Whenever I go on holiday I will post content which I can monetise but I’m still on holiday.

“I don’t go: ‘Me and Brad had them most amazing week in Portugal but don’t worry I was flat out working’. You just sound so stupid.

“And on top of that you’ve got the ones going: ‘We’re all in this together. This is our struggle.’ No it’s not, you’re on holiday and to be fair I don’t f*****g blame you.

If this goes on for another six months I’m not going to say I wouldn’t potentially be tempted to take a trip because I probably f*****g would but…”

Urging influencers to be honest, the 29 year old added: “I just feel it’s giving a whole load of people a bad reputation when actually some people have just gone away and put their hands up and said they’ve gone on holiday.

“But some things I’ve seen in the last 24 hours, people legit on their Stories going, ‘You don’t know how hard it is to be an influencer.’

“People are losing their family members daily, people can’t pay their rent, people’s lifelong businesses they’ve worked their f******g b*****ks off for are crumbling around them and you’re on your Story on the beach telling us we don’t know how hard it is.“

Finishing her rant Olivia concluded by saying: “Right that’s it from me. And look if I decide to bail out of this s**t show in a few months, don’t all hate on me.

“I’m not going to say I’m never going away again but I’m not going to tell you I’m going for work, I’m just going to be honest.”
