Bamford London Seals Popeye GMT Inside Spinach Tin

Popeye is back at Bamford London with a starring role on the dial of the brand’s GMT model.

Following the sell-out success of the Bamford’s Popeye GMT 90th Anniversary limited edition in 2019, the heroic sailor has returned to the dial of the GMT, his bulging forearms once again indicating the time as hour and minute hands, while a red arrow hand indicates a second timezone.

This new Popeye GMT features a 40mm matt-black finished stainless steel case and a black and blue inner rotating bezel with 24-hour scale while the watch is powered by a 4Hz Swiss-made automatic Sellita SW330-2 movement with 42-hour power reserve.

The watch is supplied on a black cordura strap and is presented in a spinach tin (the source of Popeye’s strength) package with a selection of themed stickers.

Just 100 pieces are available via Bamford London, priced £1,500 GBP ($2,075 USD).
