It looks like two celebrated singers are getting pretty cozy. Chris Martin and Dua Lipa were seen kissing after his split from Dakota Johnson. The Coldplay frontman and “New Rules” singer were seen getting quite cozy backstage at the Glastonbury Music Festival over the weekend. The sighting came amid speculation over why the “Yellow” singer and Bad Times at the El Royale actress split.
Lipa and Martin apparently were inseparable for most of the night. According to a source for The Sun, “As soon as Chris caught Dua’s eye, he was over like a shot — and he didn’t leave her side all night.” The source continued, “She seemed happy to be in his company and even introduced him to her family,” the insider added. “They were all talking together for ages but whenever Chris could get Dua all to himself he would be really flirty with her.”
The chemistry between the “One Kiss” singer and Martin was undeniable. “There was clearly a lot of chemistry between them — and when they headed to the Guerilla bar in the Shangri-La area, he saw his moment and they shared a kiss,” the source said. It’s unclear whether or not the pair will pursue anything serious down the line, but from the account, it seems the singers are flirting and enjoying each other’s company, with no pressure added.
In mid-June, it was reported Martin and Johnson had split after a year and a half of dating.. Friends close to the couple were reportedly caught off guard by the breakup, as the pair had been getting serious and had even discussed the possibility of marriage. Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, also had a positive relationship with Johnson. We just hope Johnson is enjoying her single life as much as Martin.
