David Chang Backed Anyday Cookware is Designed to Introduce "Microwave Cooking"

Commonly associated with reheating leftovers or warming frozen food, the microwave has long been looked down upon by the culinary world and everyday consumers. But Anyday is looking to introduce “microwave cooking” and bring greater awareness to the misunderstood and underutilized kitchen appliance with its range of cookware. Founded by Steph Chen and launched in close partnership with David Chang of Momofuku Restaurant Group, Anyday cookware is designed to help cooks prepare quick fresh, flavorful, and healthy meals in the microwave.

It is interesting to note that organizations like the Harvard Medical School have proved that microwave cooking is one of the only cooking methods that retain maximum levels of nutrients in food, thanks to its ability to rapidly heat without losing liquid.

Differing from microwave-safe containers, Anyday’s microwave-specific cookware is made of heat-resistant, dishwasher-safe and oven-safe borosilicate glass with an angled design for easy handling and stacking. The Large Deep Dish, The Medium Deep Dish, The Large Shallow Dish and The Medium Shallow Dish all come with an airtight, leakproof sealed lid that keeps moisture in, venting the right amount of steam escape through the handling knob. A frosted finish allows the cookware to transition from cooking, serving and
storing.

Priced at $30 and $40 USD or $120 USD for full The Everyday Set, The Large Deep Dish, The Medium Deep Dish, The Large Shallow Dish and The Medium Shallow Dish will be available on Anyday’s website March 10, along with a comprehensive directory of cook times for various foods and recipes.
