Doja Cat Drops Out of iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball Tour Following Positive COVID-19 Result

On December 12, Doja Cat announced that she will be pulling from the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour following a positive COVID-19 result. The artist took to Instagram to share the news, detailing that a few members of her production team tested positive first before the artist herself received a positive result.

Doja Cat originally canceled the New York and Boston performances following positive results within her team. Now, the artist has canceled the forthcoming Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Miami performances as well. “I’m doing ok and look forward to recovering and getting back out there as soon as I can,” said Doja Cat in the post. “The rest of the tour stops have some really great lineups, wish I could be there.”

Recently, Doja Cat released the music video for “Woman,” the lead single from her GRAMMY-nominated album Planet Her. With direction from Janelle Monáe and H.E.R.’s childartiste, the music video features an enchanting Afrofuturism theme and also stars Teyana Taylor.
