Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul's Boxing Match Projected to Earn $50 Million USD in PPV

The exhibition fight between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul can possibly earn a whopping $50 million USD in pay-per-view sales.

According to reports, industry sources have claimed that there were at least 1 million PPV buys (via cable, satellite and streaming) domestically, and that the event was the biggest single-day of new subscription signups on the Showtime streaming service since its launch in 2015.

Much to everyone’s disappointment, the fight went on for all eight rounds without any knockdowns. Boxing fans and conspiracy theorists were quick to point out footage from the event that supposedly showed Mayweather holding up Paul after a knockout, however the latter responded and told everyone to “stop trying to discredit what happened last night.” The social media star said on Instagram, “There’s one part in the fight where Floyd punched me and I kind of like leaned on him a little bit and it looks like I kinda went limp.” He added, “People are trying to spin and say that he knocked me out and caught me and kept me up to keep the fight going to the eighth round. Shut the f*ck up. Like just shut the f*ck up. Stop trying to discredit what happened last night.”

Elsewhere in sports, a new study showed that LeBron James is reportedly the most hated player in the NBA.
