Marni comes off the back of its Fussbett Sabot success with a new take on the backless mule, this time around channeling its inner Grinch by covering it in “Light Lime” green fur.
Already doing the rounds on the Internet, this “Light Lime” iteration combines an upper covered in a hairy material alongside an inner made from smooth black leather. At first glance this may seem to be all that’s going on, but in true Francesco Risso style, no detail has been left unfinished.
For example, the toe is perfectly rounded and wide-fitting, making these the ideal pair of mules for lounging around the house. Exposed seams on the heel show the precise making of this pair, bringing the leather base and the hairy uppers together, while a slightly padded black leather outsole has also been added for more indoor (or, if you dare, outdoor) comfort.
