With all the success that New Balance has gained ever since appointing Teddy Santis one of its newest creative directors, it’s likely that the sneaker world is going to see this duo work together for a long time. The brand continues to impress its fans with a vast array of MADE in USA footwear colorways, and the latest iteration to be added to the list is this two-toned New Balance 990v2.
Fall-appropriate tones take charge on this lifestyle makeup. The kicks are mainly divided up into two colored panels, the first of which is the forefoot and quarter sections that come formed with drab olive smooth suede while the heels are covered in a lighter beige shaggy suede. Mesh underlays are the shoe laces match up with white exteriors while notes of dark navy spill onto the N logos and overlays that sit on the toe box. Tongues are accessorized with the customary 990 branding while the heel windows are fitted with “USA” hits.
No official release date has been announced for this Santis-designed pair yet, but New Balance and other retailers will likely be dropping these in the coming months.
In other news, a New Balance 9060 “Baby Blue” colorway has appeared.
