Fans of the short-lived cult comedy series “Party Down” — which follows a group of aspiring or washed-up actors and writers in Los Angeles who work a monotonous catering job — were disappointed when it came to an abrupt end after just two seasons. Thankfully, nearly 13 years later, the “Party Down” crew is back! To celebrate the show’s return to Starz for season 3 on Feb. 24, 2023, we’re taking a look at how the cast has changed from the start of the series to the revival.

The same year “Party Down” came to an end, Adam Scott scored big with a starring role on “Parks and Recreation,” for which he received two Critics Choice Award nods for best actor in a comedy series during the show’s seven-season run. He then appeared on HBO’s “Big Little Lies” before landing a starring role on the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ drama “Severance” in 2022, earning an Emmy nomination for his work. He’s been married to producer Naomi Sablan, with whom he has two kids, since 2005.

Ken Marino starred on the dark comedy series “Childrens Hospital” from 2010 to 2016, returned to the “Wet Hot American Summer” revivals and appeared in movies including “Wanderlust” and “We’re the Millers” “before enjoying a stint on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and other shows including “Marry Me.” In 2019, he reprised his role as seedy private investigator Vinnie Van Lowe on the “Veronica Mars” reboot — the same year he began starring on the HBO Max comedy series “The Other Two.” He’s been married to screenwriter Erica Oyama, with whom he has two kids, since 2005.

Three years after she said goodbye to her time as struggling actress-comedian Casey Klein, “Mean Girls” alum Lizzy Caplan reached a career high when she began starring as Virginia E. Johnson on the acclaimed Showtime series “Masters of Sex,” which earned her an Emmy nod. From there, she went on to appear in films like “The Interview” and “The Night Before” and starred on the Hulu anthology series “Castle Rock.” In 2022, she starred on FX on Hulu’s “Fleishman Is in Trouble.” Lizzy, who will next star in the “Fatal Attraction” miniseries for Paramount+ alongside Joshua Jackson, married English actor Tom Riley in 2017. They share a son, who was born in 2021.

Jane Lynch sure has a knack for juggling two television shows at once! She held starring roles on both “Party Down” and “Glee” in 2009 and continued to portray Sue Sylvester — a performance that earned her an Emmy and a Golden Globe — until the musical-comedy’s conclusion in 2015. She pulled double-acting duty once more in 2017 when she began appearing on “The Good Fight” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” earning another Emmy for her performance on the latter. The “Criminal Minds” actress scored two more Emmy Awards for her work hosting the game show “Hollywood Game Night” from 2013 to 2020. Jane, who married second wife Jennifer Cheyne in 2021, made her return to Broadway with 2022’s “Funny Girl” revival.

The dad of three with wife Amy Russell — who became a co-owner of the coffee business Honey & Roses Coffee Co. in 2021 — also appeared on eight episodes of ABC’s now-cancelled “A Million Little Things.”

She’s since lent her voice to dozens of episodes of “Bob’s Burgers” and reprised her role as Karen Walker on the “Will & Grace” reboot that ran from 2017 to 2020.
