Philipp Plein’s New $pectre Watches Merge Luxury and Performance

Paying homage to fashion’s tastemakers and bold risk-takers, Philipp Plein has revealed the brand new $pectre line as a part of the house’s Spring/Summer 2023 timepiece range. Maintaining classic Philipp Plein elements such as vibrant hues and dazzling embellishments, the new offerings honor the brand’s staple features, while introducing novel cutting-edge technology.

The $pectre Chrono is the highlight of the new watch range – the versatile timepiece is streamlined in looks but features sophisticated details that give it a bold finish. Made from lustrous stainless steel, the watch’s link bracelet accentuates its classic profile, while the sleek, symmetrical bezel exhibits versatility. The case, which measures 44mm, also holds an ultraclear mineral crystal glass that provides a sharp look at the face’s textural honeycomb pattern, luminous hands and chronograph dial with sub-dials. The $pectre Chrono’s reliable quartz chronograph movement is the model’s core feature, ensuring accuracy for longtime use on any occasion. Lastly, small details such as the “PP” logo and Philipp Plein’s skull insignia appear on the face, the crown, the bracelet and on the seconds hand. Water resistant to 5 ATM, $pectre Chrono is as performance-driven as it gets, perfect for dedicated timepiece collectors or watch fans that like their wrist accessories sporty and refined.

In addition to the launch of $pectre Chrono, the renowned fashion German brand also introduces the $keleton $pectre. The model, which reflects the house’s precise craftsmanship, is designed with modern, geometric shapes and an automatic movement that can be viewed through the rear dial. Staying true to the signature Philipp Plein emblem, this model also displays a striking $kull bone centerpiece design.

The $pectre Chrono and $keleton $pectre are available online and at participating retailers, including Bloomingdales.
