Sam Thompson's ADHD documentary cut scenes causing 'extreme disappointment'

Sam Thompson’s new documentary Is this ADHD? recently aired on E4, but not everybody was entirely happy with the program.

During the show, we see the 30-year-old get assessed for ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), and after receiving a positive diagnosis he goes on a journey to learn how to live with it in the best possible way.

After deciding that medication isn’t for him, Sam explores the avenue of physical exercise.

The former Made In Chelsea star joins Boxing Evolution coach Matt Flavell for a pads session.

The 21-second scene includes Sam telling Matt that he feels good mentally following the physical activity, but not so good in the body.

However, Matt claims they had a much longer conversation that wasn’t aired, and has criticised the production company South Shore for that decision.

‘Just watched Sam Thompson: Is this ADHD? and am extremely disappointed that out the 20 seconds @South_Shore_UK decided to use, they reduced what I do down to simply pad work, when there was so much more that I discussed that would have been valuable for people to learn.’

‘Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD?’ is available to watch on All4
