Following the release of his back-to-back albums Quest For Fire and Don’t Get Too Close, Skrillex has returned with a new single. “Fine Day Anthem” sees the Los Angeles DJ join forces with German producer Boys Noize.
This latest song isn’t the first time the two electronic musicians have collaborated. Skrillex and Boys Noize put out a joint EP in 2019 called Turn Off The Lights.
On the fast-paced “Fine Day Anthem,” the artists build a thumping beat that breaks around the two-minute mark, but never quite slows down.
For the song’s cover art, Skrillex and Boys Noize were inspired by ‘90s rave photos. Digital artist Thomas Harrington Rawle was tapped to design a piece using photography and digital painting techniques.
