After speaking with Converse Footwear-Energy Design Director Matt Sleep on the A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Geo Forma boot, we now take a closer look at the first two colorways launching for the futuristic silhouette.
Intended to be an avant-garde take on the classic Chuck Taylor All-Star, the boot sees technical uppers matched with a chunky geometric outsole. Available in Volt or Lily White, the outsole sees speckled rubber with angular color placement, giving the boot depth that’s often found in the bodywork of exotic cars. The outsole is finished with an aggressive arch and an exaggerated heel.
For a more snug fit, the Geo Forma Boot employs a mixed neoprene upper for stretch and replaces laces with a front zipper. Branding can be found all over the boot at both the lateral and medial sides, heel, and lateral side of the toe.
The A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Geo Forma Boot is set for a retail price of $150 USD and will be available for purchase via A-COLD-WALL* on December 17, followed by Converse and select retailers globally on December 20.
