To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Death Row Records, Tapehead City will be reissuing cassette tapes of the label’s albums from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac.
The cassette retailer will drop a four-piece collection consisting of Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle, 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me and his posthumous debut The Don Killuminati (The 7 Day Theory). Each tape is set to arrive in colors that match the album, with The Chronic offered in “Chronic” green, an “Up in Smoke” smoke tint and the standard white and blue, Doggystyle in another “Chronic” option, “Fruit Juice” red and “Gin and Juice” dark yellow, All Eyez On Me in translucent red and The Don Killuminati in gold. The cassettes will also be delivered in a “prison tape” pressing with a clear shell, clear liner and no J-card.
The four-piece collection is set ship on April 20 and is available for pre-orders on the Tapehead City webstore for approximately $13 USD to $17 USD each.
